Two Delta Airlines planes collided on a runway at Georgia’s airport.
The incident occurred at Atlanta Airport on Tuesday morning.
Witnesses reported that the planes collided as one was taxiing for takeoff.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a statement regarding the incident.
Incident Details: Collision Between Delta and Endeavor Planes

«Delta Air Lines Flight 295 was taxiing for departure at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport when its wingtip struck the tail of Endeavor Air Flight 5526.»
The Delta Airbus A350 was headed to Tokyo, while the Endeavor Bombardier CRJ900 was bound for Lafayette, Louisiana.
The FAA will investigate the incident, which occurred at the intersection of two runways around 10:10 a.m. local time on September 10.
Jason Adams, a meteorologist for WTFS TV, was aboard one of the planes at the time of the impact.
